Nias is a tribe of people who live in the environment and cultural customs are still high. Customary law is generally referred to Nias fondrakö governing all aspects of life starting from birth until death. Nias people living in the ancient megalithic culture heritage evidenced by the form of carvings on the boulders that are still found in remote area of this island until now.Caste: Nias tribe recognize the caste system (12 levels Caste). Where is the highest level of caste is "Balugu". To achieve this level one must be able to do a big party by inviting thousands of people and thousands of head of cattle slaughtered pigs for days.
