Sasak tribe is a tribe who inhabit the native island of Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat Province. the language used is language sasak. Sasak People livelihoods varied, half of them are farmed and there is also fisher and breeder. The majority of the Sasak people converted to Islam, and Buddhist , Hindu and religion of their ancestors is Sasak Boda minorities. Islamic religious practice some different tribes sasak mostly Islamic religion. the name of Islam Wetu Telu flow.
Despite mingling with other tribes in the area Sasak tribe still holds the old faith traditions. Family sasak population approximately 3 million people
