Comodo is the biggest reptil species in the world that is live in Komodo island, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang and Gili Dasami in Nusa Tenggara.Comodo is included in biawak's Varanidae, and klad Toxicofera, comodo is the biggest reptile in the world, which has the size between 2 to 3 m. The biggest comodo body size is caused by the gigantisme effect of the island, the gigantisme of the comodo that's live in small island is indicated by there is no other predators and little metabolic rate. Because of the biggest body size of it, it dominate the ecosystem where it lives.
Comodo was founded by the researcher in 1910. it has biggest body and also high reputation so that they become popular in the zoo. The comodo habitat has been decreased in world wide, it is caused by the human activities.
Comodo is a species that is sensitive to extinction. The biggest reptile is protected by Indonesian government regulation and they build a national zoo that is called Taman Nasional Komodo in Komodo island.
